Do you have a show you want to put on at Front Room? We are always looking for exciting new productions and ideas to try onstage. Our aim is to support as many up-and-coming artists and companies based in the South West as possible but we also host suitable touring shows. Our stage is around 4.5m by 3.5m when using the raised platform but can be bigger if using the floor space of the venue. We can configure seats and staging in a variety of ways as everything is moveable. With an end on production on the raised staging we have a capacity of 75 audience members. The space has limited but good technical capabilities. We work on a box office split with all visiting companies.

When contacting us about your show proposal, please use email only and please include as much information about you/your company and your proposed production as possible (that includes images, video links, website links and reviews – please do not send entire scripts) as well as information on roughly when you are looking to bring your show here and for how long. We generally programme events at Front Room 2-6 months in advance. The theatre’s programme is a curated mix of theatre, comedy, music, spoken word, dance and family shows.  We have a particular interest in devised work and new ideas, shows that celebrate the liveness of the theatre.
